FAST Virtual Engineering Laboratory

Increasing enrolment and limited access to physical laboratory equipment can reduce opportunities for practical engineering learning. This project will design and develop a virtual laboratory for a selected engineering experiment or practical activity that can be completed before or alongside the physical laboratory. The virtual environment will support interaction with equipment, engineering procedures, changes in operating parameters, observation of system behaviour, and completion of practical tasks. The developed environment will be evaluated for functionality, usability, and its potential to complement physical laboratory experiences and support competence development.
