Development and AI-Assisted Optimisation of Indigenous Plant-Derived Natural Coagulants for Drinking-Water Treatment
Summary
For the purpose of treating drinking water, this research
will create and refine natural coagulants made from native
African plants. The best coagulant dosage, pH, and
treatment conditions for effective turbidity and other
contamination removal will be found using artificial
intelligence and experimental modelling. The project's goal
is to offer a locally derived, inexpensive, and sustainable
substitute for traditional chemical coagulants.
