Learning outcomes
Graduates should be able to undertake advanced study and basic scientific research; apply broad technical knowledge and soft skills in professional leadership; compete in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering job market or for graduate admission; solve problems in relevant application fields; and design, implement, and maintain projects using project economics and resource-valuation methods under risk and uncertainty.

Entry requirements
Direct entry: two Advanced Level principal passes in Mathematics and Physics obtained at the same sitting of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education or its equivalent, together with five passes at UCE. Physics and Mathematics are essential; Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, and Computer Studies are relevant; General Paper is desirable.
Diploma entry: at least a second-class upper-division diploma and two years of industry experience. Relevant awards include a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or another diploma with Mathematics and Physics as core components from an accredited tertiary institution. Applicants with an accredited Higher National Diploma may also be considered. Credit accumulation and transfer follows University, NCHE, and Inter-University Council of East Africa guidelines.
