FAST Holds MSc. Biomedical Sciences & Engineering Viva Voce Defences

Eight postgraduate students defended research spanning AI-driven disease detection, digital health systems, medical diagnostics, biomedical equipment management, clinical NLP, and biomedical sensing and digital twin technologies.

The Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology (FAST) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) has successfully held the MSc. Biomedical Sciences & Engineering Viva Voce Defences for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The defence sessions gave eight postgraduate students a platform to present and defend their research, showcasing the depth of innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and problem-solving at the heart of the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering.
